Entry Requirements by Grade
Crofton House identifies Junior Kindergarten, Senior Kindergarten, Grade 6 and Grade 8 as its major intake grades. Applications are accepted for other grades, but availability generally depends on attrition.

Entrance Assessment
Applicants from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 7 participate in an in-house observation or assessment. Crofton House describes these sessions as a combination of group and one-on-one activities designed to understand how the applicant thinks, learns and interacts with others.
Grade 8 applicants complete both an in-house assessment and the SSAT. Applicants to Grades 9 through 12 are also required to submit SSAT results, but do not complete the Crofton House in-house assessment.
