Entry Requirements by Grade
The Country Day School identifies Junior Kindergarten, Grade 4, Grade 7 and Grade 9 as its main entry points. Applications are accepted for other grades based on available space.

Entrance Assessment
For Grades 4, 7 and 9, CDS reviews completed applications before determining which applicants will be invited to an in-person academic and character assessment. Not every applicant is necessarily invited.
The assessment includes both group activities and an individual academic component and may last up to four hours. CDS states that no special preparation is required.

Admissions Process
